Samsung Electronics has just introduced its first solid state drive line with Serial ATA 3.0 (SATA 6.0 Gbps) interface. New high-speed drive is offers next level performance of ultra-slim notebooks and tablets.

Samsung PM830 Specifications

The Samsung PM830 SSD is made of 2.5-inch form factor with 20nm-class MLC (multi-level cell) NAND Flash memory.

The PM830 solid state drive is delivers read and write speeds of up to 500 MB/s and 350 MB/s, respectively. It is coming in three capacity options – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB densities.

New Samsung PM830 SSD is supports AES 256-bit encryption for security feature.

There is no word on pricing at moment.
