The new affordable messaging phone is coming to US Cellular lineup that is the Samsung Profile SCH-r580. The Samsung handset has slightly different versions that already arrive at MetroPCS as Samsung Messager III and at Sprint as Samsung Restore.

The Samsung Profile SCH-r580 smartphone is sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display, a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a standard alphanumeric keypad, 100MB of internal memory, 2MP camera, Synchronous GPS, Stereo Bluetooth v2.0, music and video players, voice dialing, mobile web, a microSD card slot, and a 1,140 mAh lithium ion (Li-Ion) battery.

Dimensions of Samsung Profile SCH-r580 sliding smartphone are 4.59 x 2.11 x 0.59 inches and weighs 3.70oz. The Samsung Profile SCH-r580 can be purchased at US Cellular for $39.99 with contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
