Samsung has officially introduced its R series notebooks into Russian market, known as the Samsung R540 and Samsung R440. The first model, R540 is packs a 15.6-inch display size, while the second, the R440 has a 14-inch screen size. Both Samsung laptops have LED backlight screen with resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and boasted by an Intel Core i5 processor.
Samsung R540 notebook is comes with an ATI M92XTX graphics card, and Samsung R440 is equipped with nVidia GeForce GT 320M graphics card.
New Samsung R440 and R540 laptops are brings DVD burner, USB port with Sleep-and-Charge feature, and Wi-Fi. The Samsung R540 supports DLNA and AllShare function, which allow users to share content with compatible wirelessly devices, and Samsung Recovery Solution Package that capable to restore data after deletion or virus attacks.
The housing of Samsung R440 and R540 notebooks are made on Samsung DuraCase technology that protect from knocks and shocks. The Samsung R540 and R440 will be start selling in August 2010 for costs of 27,990 rubles and 25,990 rubles respectively.
