Samsung R720 notebook or Portable Multimedia

June 11th, 2009 Filed under Laptop

There are times that I am far to see a computer with an excess of 14-15 inches display, call it portable, but it is also true that once you have it installed on your work area, may actually be a substitute for a desktop, and have extra screen, tower, mouse separately.

Samsung presents its latest member in the R series, the Samsung R720, which it has an LED backlit display with 17.3-inch and aspect ratio of 16:9. The R720 Portable Multimedia (notebook) is based on an Intel Centrino 2 with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD4650 graphics card, which it will allow you to use the computer as an entertainment center, on both the games and multimedia.

Moreover, within the computer configuration, it can add Blu-ray disc drive. Finally, the Samsung R720 notebook with 4W speakers, dedicated subwoofer, 4 USB 2.0 ports, memory card reader and keypad separately, but we don’t see anywhere is HDMI output. The base configuration starts from the 699€ (about £599) and will be available in the United Kingdom in July.
