Samsung Reclaim M560 greener “Corn” Phone
Samsung and Sprint U.S. operator officially presented the new mobile phone, Reclaim M560, which until then was known by hearsay. This vertical slider with QWERTY keyboard is positioned as the ecological product. It is designed with the use of bio-plastic, produced with the use of corn, in addition, 80% components of the phone to be recycled. The phone does not include such harmful substances as PVC and brominated flame arresters (BFR). Packing of Samsung Reclaim is 70% made from recycled materials and printed with soy-based ink, eco-friendly as well. And in order to save paper user manual for this phone, only in electronic form, it can be found at Sprint. In addition, the device is attached to the energy efficiency.
Samsung Reclaim M560 is designed for CDMA networks, it is equipped with QVGA display, 2MP camera, supports Bluetooth interface, GPS, and microSD memory card up to 32GB. Also, a web browser interface, but through Sprint One Click service to implement quick access to Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, and YouTube. Also, several applications are the protection of the environment. Samsung Reclaim offered in two colors; Blue (Ocean Blue) and green (Earth Green). The cost of the phone with a two-year contract is $50 (after a $30 instant rebate and $50 mail-in rebate) and additionally with $2 will go to Nature Conservancy’s Adopt an Acre program. Its sales will begin on August 16th.
