Samsung SCH-W760 world’s first infrared phone, available now
Samsung presented in the Korean market a new SCH-W760 mobile phone. We already mentioned about it in the news. This device is interesting because it allows to implement the Video call even in a very low-light, as it is equipped with infra-red lamp lights. True, the image that will be black and white. The manufacturer states that this is the first in the industry of mobile phone with such functionality.
Samsung SCH-W760 is made in the slider form factor and it is equipped with a large and bright AMOLED display. In addition, this phone can receive digital TV in S-DMB standard and supports HSDPA at speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. Sales of Samsung SCH-W760 in SKT Korea operator has already begun, the cost of the phone is 580,000 won. It is not known when the novelty appears outside the Korean market.
