Samsung has released the 2nd Generation Intel Core processors powered notebooks, the Samsung Series 2, the Samsung Series 4, and the Samsung Series 6. They are business laptops that also provide improved ruggedness and enhanced security in some models.
Samsung Series 2 notebook is lower-end laptops that suitable for small-business customers. This Series 2 is comes in two versions. The first Samsung Series 2 laptop has features 12.5-inch HD LED-backlit display and Intel Celeron processor. The second model of Samsung Series 2 notebook is 14-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright display (300 nit) and Intel Core i3 Processor.
Both Samsung Series 2 laptop packs up to 4GB of memory, up to 320GB hard drive, screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel paired with Intel GMA HD integrated graphics.
The mid-range is Samsung Series 4 that also comes in two versions. The first one is equipped with a 12.5-inch HD LED-backlit display and Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor (3MB ~ 4MB). The second has a 14-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright display (300 nit) and Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor (3MB ~ 6MB).
Samsung Series 4 notebook is sports up to 6GB of memory, 320GB ~ 500GB hard drive (7200rpm), resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel, Intel GMA HD integrated graphics, docking station connector, and a 6-cell battery that enabling up to 7 hours of run time.
Finally, the higher-end model, Samsung Series 6 business laptop is available on 14-inch and 15.6-inch versions. The first Series 6 laptop is boasts a 14-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright display (300 nit), while the second is a 15.6-inch HD LED-backlit SuperBright display (300 nit).
The Samsung Series 6 notebook is powered by an Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor (3MB ~ 6MB), up to 8GB RAM, 320GB ~ 500GB HDD (7200rpm SATA), optional 128GB ~ 256GB SSD, resolution of 1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900 pixel, Intel vPro system management technology, and Intel GMA HD Integrated Graphics or nVIDIA NVS 4200M GPU.
All of them are brings metal hinges, spill-resistant sealed cases, a 1.3MP webcam with microphone, a fingerprint reader, USB 3.0, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for Samsung 4 and 6 series. It is pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional OS.
