Samsung Electronics has just introduced the Series 7 family of laptops, the Samsung Chronos. New notebook is comes in 15.6-inch and 14-inch (screen size) models. The Samsung Series 7 Chronos will be showing off at IFA Berlin 2011. It is based on Intel platform and has aluminum casings.

Samsung Series 7 Chronos Specifications

The Samsung Series 7 Chronos notebook is powered by a 2.2GHz Intel Core i7-2675QM processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and Radeon HD6750M discrete graphics, and up to 750GB hard drive along with an 8GB solid state drive (utilized ExpressCache technology).

Both Samsung Chronos laptops are brings DVD drive, 1.3MP webcam, single USB 3.0 ports, and a LED-backlit SuperBright display with resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and 300 cd/m2 of brightness.

Its battery is enabling up to 9 hours of use per charge and used the Battery Life Plus technology that allows 80 percent of its cell original capacity (up to 1500 charging cycles).

New Samsung Series 7 Chronos is also making use of the SoundAlive solution, the FastStart and QuickBoot technologies.

Samsung Series 7 Chronos Price and Availability

The Samsung Series 7 Chronos laptops have starting price of $999.99 (to $1,149). Reportedly, the laptop will be available in the US market on October 2nd, 2011.
