Samsung and KT South Korean mobile operator just submitted newest mobile phone, called the Samsung SHW-A170K. The new handset is support NFC technology.

Thanks to the NFC (Near Field Communication) which is a contactless card and can be used to buy tickets, make payments, gift cards, and more. In the case of Samsung SHW-A170K is currently enabling make payment for public transport, Lotte, GS Caltex, Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, and etc.

The NFC is embedded in SIM card that compatible USIM (Universal Subscriber Identity Module). The Samsung SHW-A170K is the first NFC-equipped phone in South Korea.

The Samsung SHW-A170K phone is packs a 3-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA), 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, GPS, and T-DMB.
