Samsung SHW-M100S phone uses Android 2.1

The Korean company, Samsung has announced new mobile phone for local market, namely Samsung SHW-M100S.
This is the Samsung’s first Android phone for South Korea. In addition, Samsung SHW-M100S is the first Samsung phone to running on Android 2.1. It also used TouchWIZ UI that supports widgets, as well as Social Networking Service (SNS).
Samsung SHW-M100S phone is equipped with 3.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels (WVGA), a 800MHz processor, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11n, Bluetooth, T-DMB, 5.0 megapixel camera capable of HD video recording (1280×720 pixels), and a microSD card slot. In addition, it supports playback of DivX.
The Samsung SHW-M100S Android phone will be available in March 2010 at SK Telecom. There is no word on pricing.
