In additional to Samsung AQ100 underwater camera, Samsung also introduced other semi-rugged compact cameras at PMA 2010 in the Anaheim Convention Center, called Samsung SL605. It is more casual than AQ100, also has an anti-scratch coating and rubberized contact points that allowing preventing against dust, dirt and sand.
Samsung SL605 camera has feature a 12 megapixel in still images, 5x optical zoom, internal 27mm wide angle lens, and support 640×480 pixel in video recording. The Samsung SL605 durable camera comes with a 2.7-inch TFT-LCD screen with 230,000 pixels and a Smart Night Mode feature that allowing capturing sharp, properly exposed images when shooting at night.
The Samsung SL605 compact camera is available in spring with priced at $130
