Samsung ST500 and ST550 compact camera with two screens
Not only are manufacturers of camera to draw attention to their products in supersaturated market of compact cameras. Recently, we talked about the development of a new Nikon Coolpix S1000PJ, which is a camera with integrated projector. And now the South Korean company, Samsung Corporation submitted a compact camera, ST500 and ST550 with two displays.
As you can be seen from the attached images, the Samsung ST500 and ST550 cameras have two LCD screen, one is quite normal on the back side (touchscreen) and the second is the front, which is very convenient, for example, to take a self-portrait. The size of front display is identical in both models and is 1.5-inch, while the diagonal rear display is varying size, and they are 3-inch and 3.5-inch from the Samsung ST500 and ST550 camera, respectively.
Except for the difference in the diagonals of the rear LCD screen design and features of Samsung ST500 and ST550 compact cameras are similar and include a CCD matrix with a resolution of 12.2 megapixel, Schneider-Kreuznach lens with a 4.6x optical zoom, as well as the tactile feedback system for Haptic Feedback and image stabilization. In addition, it is possible to recording in high definition video as 720p. Its dimensions (WxHxD) are 99.8×59.8×19.1
New Samsung ST500 and ST550 cameras will be held in September 2009, but their value will be 349 EUR and 399 EUR respectively.
