Samsung has officially announced two Star series phones namely the Samsung Star 3 and Samsung Star 3 Duos (S5222). These handsets are designed for people who want non-smartphone with an affordable price.

The Samsung Star 3 has a 3-inch touchscreen QVGA TFT LCD display, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a MicroSD card slot (up to 16GB), and a 1000mAh battery. New Star 3 phone feature TouchWiz Lite UI, SoundAlive (music player), Stereo FM with RDS, Samsung’s ChatON mobile messenger, Facebook and Twitter integration.

In term of connectivity, there are quad-band GSM / EDGE support, Bluetooth 3.0, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.

Samsung Star 3 Duos is basically looks like the Star 3 but comes with the dual-SIM functionality.

Dimensions of Samsung Star 3 are 58 x 102 x 11.5 mm and weighs 95g.

Samsung is plan to bring the Star 3 and dual-SIM Star 3 Duos (S5222) starting late this month in Russia, other countries across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
