Samsung today has announced a new mobile phone, called the Samsung Star II Duos (C6712). It is successor to the popular phone, the Samsung Star.

Unlike its predecessor, the new Samsung C6712 Star II Duos is providing dual SIM card slots. It is possible to use one SIM card for voice calling, while the other card for data access (internet).

Samsung Star II Duos (C6712) has features a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of WQVGA (240 x 400 pixels), a 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.

The Samsung Star II Duos C6712 phone is utilized TouchWiz 3.0 user interface, QuickType technology for improves typing speed compared to the traditional virtual keys.

Cost of Samsung Star II Duos smartphone in Russia is about 7,000 rubles and will be available next month.
