Samsung Wave 525 (Wave 2) and Wave 533 (Wave 2 Pro) in Russia, Official
Samsung has officially announced two new bada OS-powered smartphone in Russia, called the Samsung Wave 525 and the Samsung Wave 533. Previously, both smartphone went official in CommunicAsia 2010 under the name Samsung S5250 Wave 2 and Samsung S5330 Wave 2 Pro. Later, the Samsung Russia said the new handsets will appear on the market in August as Samsung Star Smart and Samsung Star Smart+.
Now, the Samsung Wave 525 (Wave 2) and Wave 533 (Wave 2 Pro) should be available in Russian market in September 2010 for price tag 9,000 rubles (about $300) and 10,000 rubles (around $331), respectively.
The only major difference between both models is QWERTY keyboard and the price. Both Samsung Wave 525 and Wave 533 are packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA), GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 3 megapixel camera, FM radio with recording, broadcast, 3.5mm headphone jack, an accelerometer, 80MB of on-board memory, music player with SoundAlive, a 1200mAh battery, and a microSD card slot.
The Wave 525 and Wave 533 smartphones has bring TouchWIZ 3.0 UI, SocialHub apps, ActiveSync support, Dolfin Browser 2.0 and support Google latitude. The Samsung Wave 525 and Wave 533 are support for quad-band GSM networks.

Thanks for the awesome article, so I have been a samsung person for about five years now, and I latterly upgraded from a samsung omnia i910 to the Samsung Wave and thus far I am loving it! (I do omit some options of my omnia although) I am from Halifax Nova Scotia in Canada, I used to be originaly going to wait it out for the galaxy s to arrive at the bell network however made up our minds to shop for the wave instead and keep myself $400.
