Samsung Wave II (S8530) Bada Smartphone hits Russia in November
Samsung has just introduced their latest Wave lineup smartphone in the Russian market, called Samsung S8530 Wave II. The handset was announced few days ago.
Samsung Wave II (GT-S8530) is similar to the original Samsung Wave but based on bada 1.2 and larger screen. Its main feature is T9 Trace, which works similar to Swype technology.
Inside of Samsung GT-S8530 Wave II has brings a 3.7-inch touchscreen Super TFT display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (WVGA) and support for multitouch, 5 megapixel camera with flash and 720p HD video recording, Wi-Fi 802.11b, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 2GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 3.5mm audio jack, FM tuner with RDS, and a 1500 mAh battery.
Samsung Wave II S8530 smartphone is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 MHz.
The Samsung S8530 Wave II smartphone will be available start in November 2010 and has cost of 19,990 rubles (about $667).
