South Korean company, Samsung unveiled a new notebook with the designation X170, made on the basis of Intel’s CULV.
Samsung X170 notebook comes with a Core 2 Duo (CULV) processor and its amount of RAM and hard drive capacity is not specified, but most likely, this laptop would be similar to the recently introduced Samsung notebooks of other CULV-powered lineup includes the X120, X420 and X520, which can be completed with 1-4GB of RAM and 160-500GB hard drive.
Samsung X170 is equipped with 11.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels (16:9). It has features a 3-in-1 card reader, a web camera with 1.3 megapixel, Bluetooth connectivity and Wi-Fi.
Its battery has provided up to 9 hours. This Samsung X17011.6-inch notebook is relatively small thickness of chassis that is just 25.4mm thick. Samsung X170 notebook has pre-installed Windows Vista operating system with ability to upgrade to Windows 7 (after the release of Windows 7 which scheduled for October 22). The cost of Samsung X170 is not reported.
