Samsung Xcover 271 (B2710) Rugged Phone
Samsung has updated of its Xcover series rugged phone lineup with the Samsung Xcover 271 (B2710).
The handset will be replacing previous rugged machine, the Samsung B2700.
A new feature of Samsung Xcover 271 B2710 is met with IP67 compliance that dust, shock, and water resistant device. It is able submerged in the 1 meter deep water for up to 30 minutes. Its housing is made of plastic and rubber.
Samsung Xcover 271 (B2710) phone is packs a 2-inch display, GPS (Google Maps supported), digital compass, FM radio, pedometer, 30MB of onboard memory, microSD card slot, large keypad, music player, and LED flashlight on the upper case. Its battery is provides up to 19 hours in talk time (2G) or up to 7 hours (3G).
The Samsung Xcover 271 will start selling in October 2010 in Sweden for priced at 1,700 kronor (about $241).
