Samsung has just officially introduced new durable handset in Sweden, namely Samsung Xcover. The mobile phone is a rugged device with made of durable plastic and rubber, as well as meet the IP54-certified that dust and splash resistant. The handset is actually the Samsung E2370 phone, which was showcased in February at MWC 2010 by Samsung.
Samsung Xcover phone packs a 128×160 pixels TFT display, a 0.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a music player, FM radio, LED flashlight, 5 MB of internal memory, and a microSD memory card slot (up to 2GB).
The Xcover rugged phone is enabling up to 67 days (2 months) of battery life in standby mode, up to 22 hours of talktime. It is support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 800/1900 MHz. Samsung Xcover has weighed 115 grams and 19mm thick.
The Samsung Xcover E2370 in Sweden should be available starting July 2010 for cost at 750 SEK (around €78 or $96).
