Samwell SR659 Tablet UMPC, VIA Nano Based
Taiwanese company Samwell International presented ultra mobile personal computer (UMPC) SR659, running the operating system Windows XP (Tablet Edition, or Embedded) based on the low power VIA Nano with clock frequency of 1 GHz to 1.3 GHz.
Samwell SR659 is equipped with 7-inch TFT-LCD 1024 x 600 pixels resolution with LED backlighting. The time of his work in standalone mode from a charging battery achieves up to 4 hours. There is also a hard drive of 30 GB for data storage and optional CF card up to 16 GB, so there is opportunity for expansion through SD memory card.
Despite its small size (206x135x31 mm), Samwell SR659 is a fairly broad communications capabilities Ethernet and Wi-Fi, 2-port USB 2.0, PCMCIA, VGA, audio. Samwell SR659 Tablet UMPC is also equipped with a sensor to detect fingerprints and 1.3 megapixel CMOS camera. Samwell SR659 guaranteed to work in temperature from 5 to 35 degrees Celsius, and its weight is 895 grams of lithium-ion battery capacity of 2500 mAh.
