SanDisk Extreme Pro, high-speed CompactFlash for professionals
SanDisk has announced a flash memory cards in CompactFlash format Extreme Pro Series, designed for professional photographers.
In the new maps Extreme Pro used an optimized memory controller circuit Power Core Controller, which allowed use in the construction of a smaller number of components of the PCB.
New SanDisk Extreme Pro CompactFlash versions will be released in a volume of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. All versions support 42-bit error correction code (ECC) and high speed read/write data is up to 90MB/s in UDMA-6. For comparison: the previously released a series of professional media, Extreme able to write and read data at speeds up to 60 MB/s.
SanDisk made in the RTV Silicone case does not allow moisture penetration, it can operate in temperatures from -25 to +85 degrees Celsius and are characterized by high impact strength (withstand accidental drops of up to 2.7 m).
SanDisk Extreme Pro CF is compatible with any device that supports the format of CompactFlash. Sale of new items will appear in October at a price ranging from $300 to $800 depending on capacity.
