Sanyo Repoch DVR with removable HDD

Japanese company, Sanyo has presented its latest development, Repoch digital video recorder with hard disk capacity of 160 GB. Moreover, users can later replace this hard drive to another larger HDD capacity, compatible with the Information Versatile Disk (iVR) standard.
Sanyo Repoch digital video recorder (DVR) is equipped with a digital TV tuner for watching and recording TV programs. It is designed for owners of analog TV sets who are not yet ready to replace them with digital devices. Thus, the Sanyo Repoch users can record and watch the transfer of digital formats on their analog TV receiver.
In addition, the Sanyo Repoch DVR is equipped with multiple interfaces, including HDMI port, Ethernet connector, component video and audio port, and two connectors for antenna connecting. Sales of Sanyo Repoch digital VCR in Japan starting September 1st, but it will cost around $668.
