Sanyo has expanded their two Xacti camcorders, namely Sanyo Xacti DMX-GH1 and Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100. Both Sanyo camcorders have same specifications (except for weight and size) but different form factor/design. Sanyo Xacti DMX-GH1 is made in traditional horizontal form factor, while Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 has a “pistol” grip design.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-GH1 and DMX-CG100 camcorders are packs a 14.4 Megapixel CMOS image sensor with 5x optical zoom and recording Full HD 1920×1080 60i video resolution as well as 14MP still images (up to 4640×3480 pixels). They are support ISO 50/100/200/400/800/1600.

The Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 and DMX-GH1 Full HD Camcorders are equipped with 50MB of integrated memory, a SD/SDHC/SDXC media card reader, image stabilization, 2.7-inch LCD display, HDMI, and USB 2.0. It can be stored on Eye-Fi cards with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 is comes in three color options, White, Red and Blue. Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 has Silver, Pink and Blue colors choice.

Size of Sanyo Xacti DMX-GH1 is 110x55x39 mm and weight 172g, while Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 has measures of 110x86x37 mm and weighs 176g. The Sanyo Full HD Camcorders will be available on April 16th, 2010 for expected price $320.
