Sanyo announced its newest digital recorder in Japan, which is brings a number of unusual features, called Sanyo Xacti ICR-XRS120MF.
According to the manufacturer, the main purpose of new Sanyo Xacti ICR-XRS120MF is not record voices or sounds (although integrated microphone), but provides recording FM/AM radio, MP3 or PCM (WAV) to the microSD/microSDHC card (a 2GB card included). In addition, the Sanyo Xacti ICR-XRS120MF can record audio from external sources (line-in).
However, Sanyo Xacti ICR-XRS120MF PCM/MP3 recorder has a special cradle/dock with stereo speakers system and antenna. It is equipped with a 3.5mm audio jack and a small screen for displaying information status.
Dimensions without stand are 112.3×42.6×16.1 mm and weight 66g. Sanyo ICR-XRS120MF Xacti digital audio recorder will be available in Japan on May 21. No word on pricing.
