Sanyo has introduced their new HD camcorders in US market, the Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2, VPC-CG102, and VPC-CG20. All of them have features Full HD 1080 60i video recording (1920×1080 pixels) and 14 megapixel CMOS sensor for still image capturing. The Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2 camera is a horizontal form factor, while the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG102 and VPC-CG20 is a vertical form factor.

The Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2 and VPC-CG102 have almost similar specification, except their form factor. Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2 and VPC-CG102 come with a 38mm wide angle lens, 5x optical zoom, and up to 12x double-range zoom. The Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG20 has feature likes the Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG102 but without double-range zoom.

Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2, VPC-CG102, and VPC-CG20 HD Camcorders have features Target a Color and Face Chaser function, supports MPEG4, AVC/H.264 format, 2.7-inch TFT LCD display, and mini HDMI output. Sanyo Xacti VPC-GH2 is comes with silver color and price of $229, while Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG102 packs in black enclosure for priced at $229, and Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG20 has silver and black color for $199.
