Satsports Multi-sports GPS, new navigator for athletes
Satsports has released a compact navigator, Multi-sports GPS, designed for those who “lead an active lifestyle.”
New Satsports Multi-sports GPS is built on the 400MHz Samsung 2440A processor, it is operates Windows CE 5.0 OS. It has a 2.7-inch full color touchscreen display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels, 64MB RAM, 256MB flash memory and MicroSD slot for expansion. Navigational functions are implemented by the SiRF Star III chipset, which can be found in almost every GPS device.
It is preloaded several applications for athletes and travelers. Thus, the Satski application is contains ski maps from around the world, includes bars, restaurants and lodges. These applications are able to measure the record speed of the skier, altitude, distance and movement. It also is provided SOS function (emergency feature) makes it easy to search for stranded skiers.
The Pocket Caddy application is targeted at golfers, it can focus on the field and maintain a variety of data about the game. Finally, The Satsports Log will assist the athlete, cyclists and travelers, measuring the speed of movement, distance, time and altitude above sea level.
All of these functions, incidentally, it is available for Windows Mobile and Google Android OS applications, which brings functionality of smartphone. And it will be released simultaneously with the Satsports Multi-sports GPS application. Cost of Satsports Multi-sports GPS navigator is $490.
