Scythe, a Japanese expert in the field of refrigeration, introduces the external HDD Case for 2.5-inch hard drives. This will be a model of PATA, SATA and e-SATA.
Scythe Kamazo 2 IDE (KMZ2-25IDE) and Kamazo 2 SATA (KMZ2-25SATA), respectively, is for drives with PATA and SATA interface. It can connect to computer via USB port. Scythe Kamazo 2 IDE and Kamazo 2 SATA are not requiring any additional energy source. The equipment has support for USB 2.0 standard and backwards for USB 1.1.
The third version, Scythe Kamazo 2 e-SATA (ESATA-KMZ2-25) will support a standard eSATA and USB.
All three versions of the Scythe enclosures are made of aluminum, with dimensions 125×75x13 mm and will be available in black color. Version of the Scythe IDE model will be available at the estimated price of €6.50, €7.45 for SATA and € 12.50 for eSATA.
