SDG Systems has announced its new Android rugged pocket PC, called Bluebird Pidion BIP-6000. It is designed for suitable on extreme condition.

SDG Bluebird BIP-6000 phone is made in the body with increased strength, corresponds to U.S. military standard, MIL-STD 810F and IP65 sealing requirements. Bluebird BIP-6000 is capable to works without any restraints of harsh environment. Bluebird BIP-6000 allows withstands 12 drops at 1.8m to steel surface and a temperature range of -20 to 55 degree Celsius.

The SDG Bluebird BIP-6000 rugged phone uses a 806MHz processor, a 3.5-inch crack-resistant TouchWindow LCD display with resolution of 480×640 pixels, 256MB RAM, and 512MB ROM. SDG Bluebird Pidion BIP-6000 is equipped with a 3 megapixel camera, Barcode Scanner, RFID Reader, a MicroSD card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, and Bluetooth.

SDG Bluebird Pidion BIP-6000 rugged phone works with mobile networks, GSM/HSDPA, GPS. It also has version of Google Android 1.5 (Cupcake) OS. Dimensions of SDG Bluebird BIP-6000 are 160x80x36 mm and weight is 400g. Its battery is a powerful 4,400mAh battery and provides continuous operation for a full day.
