Seagate BlackArmor 420/440 NAS: Storage Solution

Seagate’s new storage series brings a considerable amount of storage is the new BlackArmor 8 Terabytes of storage that is connected to a network NAS. The new BlackArmor 420/440 NAS, which connects to a storage infrastructure that can accommodate up to four hard drives at once, each can contain up to two terabytes of memory, which can achieve a storage beginning from 2 terabytes, according to 4 terabytes, and then finally 6 terabytes and maximum capacity of 8 terabytes.
This new proposal is aimed at small businesses, which could be up to 50 computers on the network. And for easy management functions, has a simple LCD screen that can be used directly from outside the box storage system.
The BlackArmor has an efficient security system for data protection, which has a complete system backup, in addition to RAID options in addition to secure password protection and encryption.
Plans to release the market, it is scheduled for May 2009, and costs depend on the storage capacity to be:
* The 2-terabyte BlackArmor NAS 420 will be available for 799.99 dollars.
* The 4-terabyte BlackArmor NAS 440 will be available for $ 1200.
* The 6-terabyte will be available for $ 1700.
* The 8-terabyte will be available for $ 2000.
