Seagate has announced the replenishment of the line portable 2.5-inch hard drive, the FreeAgent Go with 750GB, 880GB and 1TB capacities, as well as the release Seagate DockStar STDSA10G-RK NAS adapter, docking station with the possibility of network access
Seagate DockStar allows user to open files on FreeAgent Go hard drive for remote access over Ethernet. In addition, it can be used to connect up to 3x USB drives, the data can also be open for network access through a web browser. This must be connected Pogoplug service, allowing to turn any storage USB device (whether portable quests, flash drive or portable HDD) in the Internet. FreeAgent Go HDD can be connected separately via USB port, they are pre-formatted for Windows and come with backup software.
Seagate DockStar NAS adapter (STDSA10G-RK) is available for purchase for $100 with 1-year subscription to Pogoplug. In the future subscription can be renewed for $30 per year.
