Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD media player
Seagate renews its FreeAgent Theater media player featuring the new Theater FreeAgent+ model, which besides being able to show in your living room TV to Full HD 1080p content, HDMI connection also available.
Like its previous version, it can connect external hard drives or flash drive using its two USB 2.0 front or you can use of a FreeAgent Go portable hard drive (which can be swapped). The FreeAgent Theater+ HD media player has very simple and intuitive menus, plus be accompanied by a remote control. You can also connect to the network using its Ethernet port and access your media library on your computer network without connecting the hard drive to it.
Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD media player can play the vast majority of audio formats, video and images of the market such as MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 (DivX/Xvid), AVI, MOV, MKV, RMVB, H.264, WMV9, VC-1, JPEG, BMP, GIF, PNG, TIFF, AAC, MP3, Dolby Digital, DTS, FLAC, WMA, WAV and OGG.
The Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ has supports Dolby Digital and DTS 2.0 + Digital Out audio support, Ethernet connectivity, two USB ports, and 1080p video playback.
Seagate FreeAgent Theater+ HD media player is available in two versions: media player without hard drive at a price of $150 or media player with a 500GB FreeAgent Go HDD at a price of $290. It is selling via Seagate.com.
