UK Company, Seals Technology has developed a new rugged mobile phone, called the Seals VR7. The handset is designed to work in harsh climates.

New Seals VR7 phone has MIL-STD-810G certified and IP67 rated. The rugged GSM phone is protection to dust, dirt, shocks and drops, as well as waterproof to one meter depth for 30 minutes and 400KGS withstand pressure.

Seals VR7 durable GSM phone is equipped with GPS, 2 megapixel camera (also underwater camera), electronic compass, flashlight, FM tuner, and Wi-Fi.

The most feature of Seals VR7 phone is provides special optical signals which able send GPS coordinates to up to five mobile in a group for emergency, as well as capable send Morse code.

The Seals VR7 rugged GSM phone has also a 2-inch TFT display with QVGA resolution (240 x 320 pixels), 1GB+512MB storage spaces, up to 8GB TF memory card, USB 2.0 port, speaker with extra loud for noisy environments. Its dimensions are 124 x 58 x 25 mm and weight about 170g. The Seals VR7 is capable for GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz. As reported, the 1750mAh powerful battery is enabling up to 12 hours of talk time, up to 1,500 hours of standby.
