Sharp AQUOS DX2 HDTV series integrated Blu-ray recorder and Ethernet
Sharp has introduced its new range of TVs with high definition resolution up to 1080p. The new HDTV series takes on the name of AQUOS DX2, a series consisting of several steps: 26-inch, 32-inch, 40-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch, all of this TVs have high-definition resolution.
For the first two, that is 26-inch and 32-inch models, its maximum resolution is 720p with a 7000:1 dynamic contrast and two HDMI inputs, while in the case of 40-inch, 46-inch, and 52-inch models is reach 1080p resolution (Full HD), they have a dynamic contrast of 15000:1 and have three HDMI inputs.
All models have two tuners and a digital terrestrial TV and are able to record content from all of them on Blu-ray Disc dual layer. We are talking about disks with 50GB capacity and can record up to 30 hours of HD video.
Finally, Sharp AQUOS DX2 HDTVs will have support for BD-Live download content from the Internet through the Ethernet connection, available to all models in the AQUOS DX2 rear addition to be compatible with TV over IP (IPTV) and Yahoo Japan.
It will be available in September in Japan and prices are: $1787 for the 26-inch, $2000 for the 32-inch, $2943 for the 40-inch, $3993 for the 46-inch, and finally, the 52-inch display will be priced at $5048.
All of Sharp HDTVs will be available in different colors, while the model 26-inch, 32-inch and 40-inch will find them in white, black and red, the 46-inch and 52-inch models are available only in black and white.
