The Android-based ‘Yahoo Phone‘ has just introduced by SoftBank in Japan. New handset is basically re-brand of Sharp AQUOS SoftBank 009SH and comes with Yahoo Japan pre-loaded. It is including Yahoo Japan Auctions, Yahoo Japan Home, a calendar, dictionary, Yahoo Loco, and more.

SoftBank has also offering for its subscribers will become Yahoo Japan premium members (two-year for free, instead $4.50 per month) when purchased this Sharp handset. Besides that, users can get additional points on Yahoo Shopping for every purchase.

Running on Android 2.3 OS, the Sharp AQUOS the Premium SoftBank 009SH has a 4-inch touchscreen LCD display with QHD (960 x 540) resolution, an 8 megapixel CMOS camera, and infrared.

The Sharp 009SH smartphone is a microSDHC card slot (up to 32GB), digital TV tuner, Bluetooth 3.0, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, and an e-wallet function.

Dimensions of SoftBank 009SH are 61.5 x 123 x 12mm and weight 129 grams.
