Shuttle X270V Nettop: first mini PC runs Linux

A well-known producer of the mini-desktop computer, Shuttle announced its first model nettop, software OS platform running on Linux. New Shuttle X270V and it was named its appearance and characteristics similar to other compact PC Shuttle, known as Barebone X27D.
New Shuttle X270V nettop has a subtle and stylish building, executed in black and silver color, equipped with dual Intel Atom 330 processor with clock frequency of 1.6 GHz and motherboard based on Intel 945GC chipset. It supports up to 2GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 2.5-inch hard drive or SSD. The device is equipped with integrated Intel GMA950 graphics and a built 5.1 channel audio, as well as Gigabit Ethernet connector and six ports of USB. There are also outputs D-Sub, DVI, VGA connector and PS/2 connections for keyboard.
Shuttle X270V Nettop is equipped with 60 watt power supply and operates on the operating system Linux OpenSUSE. It comes with a two-year warranty and is available for order in various configurations starting at 299 euro price.
