SonicSlide STS3000: Smallest Fingerprint Reader for Mobile Devices

For many people, the biometric protection of mobile devices is not excessive, but manufacturers have been slow to integrate fingerprint scanners into their products. Perhaps the situation will change for the better after the appearance of SonicSlide STS3000.

SonicSlide STS3000 Fingerprint developed by Sonavation, claiming that its product is the most sensitive in its class. It consumes five times less power compared to competitors’ decisions and stand up to ten million scans. In its work, the sensor uses SonicSlide STS3000 uses ultrasound and MEMS technology, which allows for high accuracy recognition of fingerprints.

SonicSlide STS3000 Scanner able to operate in temperatures from -30 to 85 degrees Celsius. Area scan size is 9.6 x 0.4 mm, and the scanner module is 35 x 17 x 1.15 mm. High-speed devices can take the fingerprints at a speed of 20 cm/s and a resolution of 500 DPI.

As can be seen, high performance and compact size make SonicSlide STS3000 ideal for use in mobile devices. Now the word for their producers is great and Innovative.
