Sony Alpha A500 and Alpha A850 SLR cameras, new details
We have already reported that Sony is preparing the announcement of two new SLR cameras, Alpha A500 and Alpha A850. The first of these will be a typical mid-range model, and the second is a more accessible version of the high-end full-frame DSLR of Sony Alpha A900. And German resource, DigitalKamera released fresh details about these updates.
According to new information, Sony Alpha A850 SLR camera gets full frame CMOS-matrix with a resolution of 24.6 megapixels, the level of sensitivity from 100 to 6400 ISO, 3-inch screen and feature burst shooting speed of 3 frames per second. As the Sony Alpha A500 model will be equipped with 12.3-megapixel CMOS sensor with the level of sensitivity up to 12,800 ISO, as well as 3-inch screen and dual-mode Live View.
The date of the announcement Sony Alpha A500 and Alpha A850 SLR cameras is not yet known. Perhaps they will be presented at the September 2009, IFA show in Berlin.
