Two new Walkman players have been official introduced by Sony at least in Japan. They are Android-powered Walkman ZX1 and F-Series, which arrives for Japanese market this year.
The Sony NW-ZX1 Walkman comes without FM radio but brings a huge 128GB of internal memory. Specifications of NW-ZX1 are similar to the Sony NW-F880 Walkman player. Folks in Japan will be able to get the Sony Walkman NW-ZX1 starting December for cost 75,000 JPY that’s meaning about $751 USD.
Sony NW-F880 is an Android Jelly Bean Walkman player of its F-Series. The NW-F880 will be available in the Sony NW-F885, NW-F886, and NW-F887. The difference between three models of F-Series are internal memory capacity space, which is NW-F885 with 16GB, NW-F886 with 32GB, and NW-F887 with 64GB.
These Sony Walkman players boast a 1GHz TI OMAP dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. It has a 4 inch Luminous display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth 3.0. The Sony NW-F880 is equipped with FM radio. There are four color options – black, pink, white, and blue.
Price of the Sony NW-F880 Walkman players are range from 27,000 JPY (about $274) to 40,000 JPY (around $406). New Sony NW-F885, NW-F886, and NW-F887 players will be available in Japan on October 19th. All of them are running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
