Sony BDP-CX960, BDP-CX7000ES, and BDP-S1000ES MegaChanger, up to 400 discs

Sony officially announced three new Blu-ray players in its MegaChanger Series; Sony BDP-CX960 MegaChanger, Sony BDP-CX7000ES MegaChanger, and Sony BDP-S1000ES MegaChanger. It should attract the connoisseur’s attention of high quality equipment.

The first of new products has become a Sony BDP-CX960 MegaChanger Blu-ray player. Its device provided up to 200 optical disks. Also Sony BDP-CX960 MegaChanger Blu-ray player is equipped with Ethernet connector feature BD-Live and supports DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and 7.1 channel Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. The player will be on sale in autumn at a price of $800.

Another innovation, the Sony BDP-CX7000ES MegaChanger Blu-ray player has 1GB capacity and ability to work with 400-disc Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD. In addition, it can work in a multi-mode, which allows, for example, to listen to two different songs in different rooms, and is equipped with an RS232 connection and IR-in. Sony BDP-CX7000ES Blu-ray player supports 12-bit color depth processing, and its output is full HD 1080/60p and 24p True Cinema. This Blu-ray player will be available in August at a price of $1,900.

The last of the devices has become a usual single Sony BDP-S1000ES Blu-ray player, supports 14-bit image processing and is equipped with a BD-Live function, as well as built-in Wi-Fi (802.11N/G/B/A). This player allows connect to the internet through an existing wireless home network for stream and download BD-Live content. Also it has compatible with most wireless routers and supports Wi-Fi Protected Setup. Sony BDP-S1000ES Blu-ray player has support Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) and ready to connect to other DLNA compliant devices, it allows to watch digital photos on TV. This player will appear in August at a price of $700.
