Sony has introduced its portable 1Seg digital TV in BRAVIA series, called Sony BRAVIA XDV-S700. This device also has FM/AM radio tuner and built-in 1Seg tuner. Sony BRAVIA XDV-S700 Portable 1Seg TV comes with a 5-inchwide-screen LCD display with resolution WQVGA 272×480 pixel, build-in stereo speaker, 2GB internal memory that allows video recording up to 10 hours.
The Sony BRAVIA XDV-S700 Portable 1Seg digital TV has dimensions 168x95x18 mm (width x height x depth) and weight is approximately 221g (including built-in rechargeable battery), it makes this Sony’s device is one of the lightest portable 1Seg TV. The battery of Sony BRAVIA XDV-S700 has provides up to 6.5 hours of watching 1Seg TV and up to 27 hours for FM radio. Sony BRAVIA XDV-S700 will be available in Black and White color and be release on 21 October 2009.
