Sony BRAVIA Z5500 HDTV, high quality and style

Sony Corp. announced a new Full-HD LCD TV, BRAVIA Z5500 HDTV. According to statements made by Sony, this TV has become the best in the model of BRAVIA to date on the quality of the output image. This model is release in three versions with different screen diagonal 40, 46 and 52 inches. Moreover, all these models are equipped with Motionflow technology with a frequency of 200 Hz, increasing the sharpness of dynamic images, as well as a function of increasing the clarity of Image Blur Reduction. In addition, the TV supports DLNA networking technologies and is equipped with Ethernet interface that allows it to work with native streaming media.
Among other features of LCD TV BRAVIA Z5500 HDTV are the original function AppliCast, allow you to display RSS news channels on TV. With its help, you can also download various widgets (small applications), for example, a calculator, alarm clock, photo frames, and clocks showing the time in different parts of the world. AppliCast function also allows you to control playback streaming media content and navigation on it is carried out through the interface XrossMediaBar, familiar to users gaming console PlayStation 3.
In addition to the foregoing, the BRAVIA Z5500 HDTV is quite energy efficient solution. It is equipped with a function of Energy Saving Switch, allow you to save electricity. But even without this feature, BRAVIA Z5500 HDTV consumes 25% – 35% less on energy than similar models in 2008.
