Sony has recently officially introduced two new E-series models, the Sony Walkman NWZ-E580 and NWZ-E380. Both devices offer longer battery life and more powerful bass, so it looks like music oriented. The Sony E580 and E380 Walkman portable media players are unlike the F800 series since the new PMP do not run Android operating system.
The Sony E380 Walkman is equipped with a 1.77-inch display and 4GB / 8GB of internal storage. This portable player promises 30 hours of battery life when music playback. Moreover, new E380 provides MDR-E804YLA in-ear headphones. The Sony E580 Walkman has a 2-inch display with 8GB / 16GB of storage capacities. You can use the E580 for playing your songs / music up to 77 hours per full single charge. It also comes with DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) that useful to restore lost subtle high frequency details. For additional, there is VPT (Virtualphones Technology).
Two Sony Walkman portable media players support several of audio file formats such as MP3, WMA, AAC-LC, Linear PCM, and WMV9. Furthermore, the Sony E580 Walkman also able to recognize the FLAC, Apple Lossless, AVC, and MPEG 4 format. Both Sony devices provide Clear Bass and Clear Stereo sound enhancement to ensure high-end audio quality. Dimensions (W x H x D) of NWZ-E580 are 42.1 x 92.1 x 8 mm and weighs 49 grams, while the NWZ-E380 are 43.4 x 87.7 x 9.9 mm and its weighs 52grams.
The company plans to release the E580 and E380 Walkman PMPs in European market in July 2013.
