Sony Ericsson has just introduced new smartphone in China namely the Sony Ericsson A8i. It is the first smartphone to support China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network. The A8i will be distributing via the country’s largest operator, China Mobile.
The Sony Ericsson A8i is runs on OPhone OS 2.0 platform, (variant of Android 2.1). It is added the Chinese social networking and support of local online services. This smartphone is sports Sony Ericsson signature entertainment apps including TrackID that linked directly with China Mobile’s music download service.
New stylish Sony Ericsson A8i smartphone has feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixel (FWVGA), 5 megapixel autofocus camera with geotagging support and LED flash, GPS, e-compass, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 200MB onboard memory, microSD/microSDHC card slot (up to 32GB), FM radio, accelerometer, 3.5mm audio jack, microUSB port and CMMB tuner.
Sony Ericsson A8i is designed for GSM/GPRS and TD-SCDMA network. Dimensions of Sony Ericsson A8i are 117 x 59 x 14 mm with weight 136gram.
