Sony Ericsson Aspen, first uses Windows Mobile 6.5.3
Sony Ericsson today officially introduced their newest smartphone, called Sony Ericsson Aspen (aka, Sony Ericsson Faith). The first details were appeared on the Internet in the middle of last month.
The main feature of new Sony Ericsson Aspen is its operating system, it is running on Windows Mobile 6.5.3. The announcement of this operating system is not yet. According to reports, the new Windows Mobile 6.5.3 is replace the WM 6.5. It is supports capacitive touchscreens, in addition, Microsoft has optimized interface for iterative finger-friendly. Most likely, the details of Windows Mobile 6.5.3 OS will probably at Mobile World Congress 2010 (MWC 2010).
Sony Ericsson Aspen is equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA TFT touchscreen LCD with a resolution of 240×320 pixels and horizontally oriented, QWERTY keyboard, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, GPS (works with Google Maps), FM tuner with RDS, 3.2 megapixel camera, microUSB port and a microSD memory card slot with up to 16GB (included 4GB).
Sony Ericsson Aspen is a business-focused QWERTY candybar phone with Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart portfolio that will be supplied energy-efficient charger, Sony Ericsson EP800. Sony Ericsson Aspen supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSDPA 900/2100 or 850/900/2100 MHz (depending on the region).
Dimensions of Sony Ericsson Aspen are 117x60x12.45 mm and weight is 130g. Sony Ericsson Aspen comes in black and white silver color. It will be available in Q2 2010.
