Sony Ericsson is going prepare to relase its first dual-core smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia duo that will coming in September 2011.

The upcoming high-end smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm or ST-Ericsson chip), 1.5GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage.

Sony Ericsson Xperia duo is brings a 4.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, and a 2500 mAh battery. Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, new Sony Ericsson Xperia duo smartphone packs a rear-facing 12-megapixel camera with Exmor R CMOS sensor, flash LED, and capable to capture 1080p video.

Cost of Sony Ericsson Xperia duo powerful smartphone is still unknown at moment.
