Sony Ericsson has officially introduced its new Android smartphone, the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8. The photos of handset were published yesterday. It is an entertaining smartphones to give consumers choice in size and style.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 is slightly larger than Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini pro, but much smaller than the flagship Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10. The handset is powered by 600 MHz processor and running on Android 1.6 OS with support for Google services, TimeScape and MediaScape.
This entertaining smartphone packs a 3-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 320×480 pixels (HVGA), GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3.2 Megapixels camera, FM tuner with RDS, 128 MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (2GB memory card included), a 3.5mm headphone jack, microUSB port, and 1200 mAh battery.
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 is designed for GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 900/2100 MHz or UMTS/HSPA 800/850/1900/2100 MHz. Its size is 99x54x15 cm and weight 104g.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X8 can be purchased end of the Q3 and comes in five color options: White, Dark Blue/White, Aqua Blue/White, Pink/White, and Silver/White.
