Sony Handycam NEX-VG10 First Consumer Camcorder with Interchangeable Lenses
Sony has just announced a new flagship camera for the consumer segment, namely the Sony Handycam NEX-VG10. The camcorder is the world’s first consumer camcorder with interchangeable lenses and the first Handycam camcorder to feature an extra-large Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor. The Sony Handycam NEX-VG10 can used E-mount 18-200mm lens that providing 11x optical zoom.
Sony Handycam NEX-VG10 camcorder is already in use on the Sony NEX-5 and Sony NEX-3 models. It is boasts a BIONZ image processor and enabling shoot 1080p (1920 x 1080) Full HD quality video with sound professional level. In addition, the NEX-VG10 is capable capture 14 megapixel still images.
The Sony Handycam NEX-VG10 camera is sports a 3-inch swivel Xtra Fine LCD display, Optical Steadyshot image stabilization, an ISO sensitivity of up to 12800, slot for Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC/SDXC cards. The 32GB model is enough to store up to four hours of HD video with resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has measuring 85 x 130 x 223 mm and weighting in just 620g.
New Sony Handycam NEX-VG10 first consumer-oriented camcorder with interchangeable lenses should be available in September and already pre-order for priced at $2,000.
