Sony has officially announced the release date of its new Platinum Wireless Headset in Canada. That’s on January 12th, 2017 so it is delaying from the initial announcement earlier this year. Customers who want picking one up can set to pay $199.99 CAD. At same day, it will be release in the United States for priced at $159.99 USD.
Sony Platinum Wireless Headset comes with a wide range of improvements over its well-received predecessor. It is including more premium build quality and materials. Sony’s new $200 Platinum Wireless Headset has larger 50mm drivers and more advanced noise cancelling microphones. The Platinum Wireless Headset has adopted Sony PlayStation’s proprietary 3D audio technology. It is highly positional 7.1 virtual surround sound. Well, the new handset offers two major benefits to anyone who decides to buy into the technology. According to company (borrowing a page from Sony’s PlayStation VR headset), the first thing that the games that support virtual 7.1 surround sound emulation will produce sound better quality. Next up! it will update several non-PSVR games to support 3D audio. For example that will be updated to support the feature, it is Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.
