Sony has officially announced the release of speaker docking station namely the Sony RDP-X50iP. It is designed for Apple iPod and iPhone device. The Sony RDP-X50iP is compatible with iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS and iPod portable multimedia players (iPhone 4 is not reported). The RDP-X50iP has minimalist design, which will harmonies with virtually any interior and is hugely versatile.

New Sony RDP-X50iP speaker docks are sports digital amplifier and long-stroke driver units that capable of delivering 20W + 20W RMS (real room-filling power).

The Sony RDP-X50iP is equipped with two 76mm speakers and used digital signal processing (DSP) for crisp high frequency reproduction precision-enhanced. It can re-charge batteries of iPhones or iPods. It is bundled with a remote control.

Dimensions of Sony RDP-X50iP are 356 x 158.1 x 151.9 mm and weight 1.8 kg.
