Sony has expanded its wearable lineup with unveiled the Sony SmartWatch 2 (SW2). This wearable accessory is basically a second screen for Android smartphone and has similar feature as the previous model. Alongside display some information such as access notifications and an activity tracker, you can also answer and make calls, Android app interface, or even remotely control your Android phone.
The little multifunctional watch, Sony SmartWatch 2 features a 1.6-inch sunlight readable display with a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels, NFC and Bluetooth 3.0 for pairing with other device. It is compatible with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or above. Coming with an aluminum body, the second generation SmartWatch has a stainless steel wristband and fits waterproof IP57-rated.
Sony SmartWatch 2 is allowing you take photos remotely and control presentation remotely. Sony plans to launch the NFC-enabled SmartWatch 2 in sometime in September but the official price of device is still mysterious.
